Job Requirements
- Food handler's certification must be obtained by first day or as required
- Ability to stand for several hours
- Capability to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on various height levels
- Ability to lift push pull or carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- Ability to serve guests' needs with high sense of urgency
- Must have a fun positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Food handler's certification as required by state and local regulations
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to operate fry grill sauté steam and taco stations
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
Job Duties
- Master the fry station ensuring fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station cooking proteins and taco ingredients to correct temperatures
- Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful dishes
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming maintaining texture and flavor
- Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on grill fry sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
- Monitor quality and presentation of each dish ensuring standards before reaching guest
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation ensuring food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate closely with other back-of-house team members for timely and correct food preparation
- Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients managing inventory
- Operate with urgency during busy periods maintaining quality and presentation
