Job Requirements
- Must have six months prep cook experience within an HCR restaurant or one year external line cook experience
- Ability to read and understand recipes and POS generated tickets
- Ability to handle food allergies carefully
- Must pass training tests with minimum 90 percent score
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Dependable with regular attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and management
- Willingness to acquire personal knife set within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to perform physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and pushing/pulling weights
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including facemask and non-slip shoes
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Read and understand recipes and POS generated tickets
- Cut foods as specified by recipe
- Weigh, measure, and prepare foods according to recipe specifications using station checklists, ensuring allergies are considered
- Prepare meats, vegetables, batters, sauces, and dressings according to recipes
- Bake or cook food items according to guest orders and recipes
- Clean and sanitize assigned station throughout each shift
- Assist others as needed
- Restock or breakdown assigned station before next meal period
- Communicate pertinent information to next meal period's line cooks and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Prepare and present menu items according to standardized plating cards and recipes
- Set up station according to daily checklist and Chef's direction
- Follow all scheduling and attendance policies
