Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a relevant setting
  • Experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work long shifts of up to 14 hours
  • Strong multitasking and teamwork skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Hold a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work around 14 hours per day
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, country club or full-service restaurant
  • Must have experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Familiar with food safety standards
  • Ability to multi-task, take direction, and be a team player

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking recipes and adhere to directions

Job Duties

  • Work directly with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals for guests based on fresh ingredients
  • Organize workload in the kitchen to ensure efficient processes
  • Produce high-quality dishes following established menu choices
  • Adhere to all guest dietary requests
  • Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during work hours
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are prioritized throughout food preparation stages
  • Prepare meals quickly and deliciously
  • Enforce food and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers during meal services
