Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a line cook prep cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment breakfast and lunch experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and a strong understanding of various cooking methods including grilling sautéing and frying
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high-pressure team-oriented kitchen
- Keen eye for quality consistency and presentation
- Reliable punctual and ready to work early morning shifts
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and kitchen cleanliness
- Genuine passion for creating delicious dishes and contributing to a memorable dining experience
Job Duties
- Efficiently set up stock and maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch items according to Anna's House recipes and presentation standards
- Collaborate with line cooks prep cooks and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and high-quality food service
- Adhere to food safety sanitation and hygiene regulations maintaining a spotless and safe kitchen environment
- Learn new cooking techniques contribute to menu development and continuously improve culinary skills
- Assist with inventory management proper food storage and minimizing food waste
