Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Love for food and attention to detail
  • Current Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety
  • Excellent customer service and etiquette skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cooking or food preparation preferred but not required
  • Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Basic knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes in cooking
  • Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
  • Plates prepared foods based on chef's guidance
  • Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
  • Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
  • Uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
