Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years of relevant culinary experience
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • excellent attention to detail and a passion for food
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environments
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • assist in inventory management and food storage
  • ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • collaborate with culinary team members to meet daily production goals
  • contribute to menu development and seasonal food planning
  • support training of new kitchen staff
