Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous kitchen or line cook experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team
  • strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn and take instruction
  • reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus and a positive attitude
  • communicates effectively and clearly
  • assumes 100 percent responsibility for quality of products served
  • able to exert well-paced mobility throughout scheduled shift
  • complies with company policies, procedures, equipment use and food preparation
  • stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products to assure efficient service
  • maintains a clean and sanitary workstation
  • handles, stores, labels, dates and rotates all products properly and consistently
  • complies with all company guidelines regarding food safety and personal safety
  • completes required tasks within assigned time frames
  • assists in food prep, maintenance, cleanliness and/or other kitchen duties as assigned
  • follow procedures for opening, closing and on-going cleanliness
  • able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
  • able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
