Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or line cook experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn and take instruction

Job Duties
- Maintain a guest focus and a positive attitude
- communicates effectively and clearly
- assumes 100 percent responsibility for quality of products served
- able to exert well-paced mobility throughout scheduled shift
- complies with company policies, procedures, equipment use and food preparation
- stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products to assure efficient service
- maintains a clean and sanitary workstation
- handles, stores, labels, dates and rotates all products properly and consistently
- complies with all company guidelines regarding food safety and personal safety
- completes required tasks within assigned time frames
- assists in food prep, maintenance, cleanliness and/or other kitchen duties as assigned
- follow procedures for opening, closing and on-going cleanliness
- able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
- able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
