Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in food preparation
- Ability to follow special diet recipes
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform routine cleaning assignments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical school degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in food preparation
- Preferred 2 years experience in food preparation
- Ability to follow special diet recipes accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare appealing and appetizing foods for patients, cafeteria and catered events
- Ensure special diet recipes are followed for proper patient nutritional requirements
- Follow and comply with recipe guidelines and departmental operation needs
- Adhere to all food safety and HACCP guidelines and complete all HACCP documentation during preparation
- Maintain a safe and clean work area including performing routine cleaning assignments
- Report to the manager
- Comply with all healthcare facility policies and procedures
