Job Requirements
- Ability to work an average of 30 hours per week to be eligible for health insurance
- Must be able to safely handle kitchen equipment and cutting tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Legal authorization to work in the country
- Physical capability to perform duties in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar culinary role preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control
- Good manual dexterity and knife skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Passionately prepare, portion, and/or cook food items to quality specifications
- Ensure exceptional presentation by checking/dressing dishes before they are served
- Showcase superior dexterity skills to operate cutting tools quickly and safely
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to ensure correct cooking and flavor profiles
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Be a true team player and work well with others
