Job Requirements
- high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- open availability
- must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card required
- must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- must be able to walk, stand, and bend for 3 or more hours a day
- must be able to perform repetitive hand actions such as grasping, pushing, pulling and reaching
- may be exposed to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and temperature extremes
- must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
- provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
- utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
- take direction and be flexible in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- work cooperatively as a team player in a confined space
