Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience as cook
- ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a team
- very good communication skills
- excellent physical condition and stamina
- maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
- ability to stand for long periods
- work primarily indoors
- willingness to comply with club policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, boiling
- ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a team
- very good communication skills
- excellent physical condition and stamina
- high school diploma or equivalent
- diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control, receive and check food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms including inspecting condition and freshness of products, maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager, complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager, protect the assets of the Club, operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf, maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate, assist with other duties as needed
