Job Requirements
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Create and design new and unique menu items
- Assist the Executive Chef in budget establishment and adherence
- Ensure all food and beverage products meet hotel standards
- Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition
- Fully understand and comply with health, safety, and labor regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or relevant role
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary certification and food safety certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques and nutrition
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
- Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions
Job Duties
- Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service for menu items and specials
- Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Create and design new and unique menu items
- Assist the Executive Chef in department budget establishment and adherence
- Ensure food and beverage products are prepared and served according to hotel standards
- Keep all equipment clean and in excellent working condition
- Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations
