Job Requirements

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
  • Create and design new and unique menu items
  • Assist the Executive Chef in budget establishment and adherence
  • Ensure all food and beverage products meet hotel standards
  • Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition
  • Fully understand and comply with health, safety, and labor regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or relevant role
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary certification and food safety certification preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques and nutrition
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions

Job Duties

  • Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service for menu items and specials
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Create and design new and unique menu items
  • Assist the Executive Chef in department budget establishment and adherence
  • Ensure food and beverage products are prepared and served according to hotel standards
  • Keep all equipment clean and in excellent working condition
  • Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations
