Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience cooking on a line
  • culinary degree or comparable experience
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in hot and cold conditions
  • willingness to comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks regularly

Job Qualifications

  • A culinary degree or comparable experience
  • minimum of 1 year experience cooking on a line
  • excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef
  • work quickly while implementing set standards including quality, portion control, and presentation
  • prepare for food service including cleaning, chopping food, and stocking stations
  • comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • assist with cleaning, stocking, opening and closing the restaurant
  • perform tasks efficiently with a positive and professional approach
  • promote and embrace the restaurant’s community and eco-conscious culture
  • assist team members as needed and model teamwork
