Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience as cook
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- current Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for extended periods
- good organizational and verbal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work within guidelines
- availability for shift work according to assignments
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, and boiling
- ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a team
- very good communication skills
- excellent physical condition and stamina
- high school diploma or equivalent
- diploma from a culinary school is an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control
- receive and check food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms including inspecting condition of contents, checking against invoices and orders, and freshness of products
- maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
- complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
- protect the assets of the Club
- operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
- maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- assist with other duties as needed
