Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • diploma from culinary school is an advantage
  • proven experience as cook
  • ability to use cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
  • knowledge of cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, boiling
  • ability to follow sanitation procedures
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • very good communication skills
  • excellent physical condition and stamina
  • maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
  • ability to perform moderate physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs up to 30 lbs frequently
  • capability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as cook, experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware, knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.), ability to follow all sanitation procedures, ability to work in a team, very good communication skills, excellent physical condition and stamina, high school diploma or equivalent
  • diploma from culinary school will be an advantage

Job Duties

  • Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control, receives and checks food and supplies into kitchen and storerooms inspecting condition and freshness, maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by Chef or General Manager, protect the assets of the club, operate within guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf, maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate, assist with other duties as needed
