Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a line cook or in a related kitchen role
- food handler’s certification preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- excellent interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and preparation
- familiarity with culinary terms and restaurant operations
- ability to follow recipes accurately
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- prior experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- coachable and able to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepare and plate delicious and visually appealing food for guests
- execute menu items as directed by kitchen leadership
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
- uphold food safety, health, and sanitation standards
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation
- communicate effectively with front of house and back of house staff
- perform opening and closing side work and restock kitchen supplies
