Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to perform kitchen duties such as lifting and bending
- Must comply with Mississippi Department of Health codes
- Food handler's permit or relevant certification required
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion control guidelines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification in ServSafe or equivalent food safety training advantageous
Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain portion control to minimize waste
- Execute food preparation and production tasks efficiently
- Practice safe food handling and sanitation in compliance with health codes
- Work in assigned station to produce quality food
- Provide friendly and courteous service
- Assist in food production when needed
