Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as cook
- Ability to use cooking equipment safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow written recipes and sanitation procedures
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform kitchen duties
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- Knowledge of various cooking methods such as grilling, baking and boiling
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma from a culinary school is an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes to produce consistent quality and portion control
- Receive and check food and supplies for quality and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
- Complete opening and closing checklists as required
- Protect the assets of the club
- Operate within club guidelines, policies, and standards
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- Assist with other duties as needed
