Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6-12 months culinary or kitchen experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs regularly

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation

Job Duties

  • Work closely with culinary team to support café operations
  • Understand and execute the Erewhon brand and café menu
  • Prepare and cook food according to quality standards and portions
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Complete end of day inventory and other duties per company procedures
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and correct storage
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, equipment, and coolers
  • Assist with receiving and storing incoming orders
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment
  • Follow proper knife safety procedures
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
