Job Duties

  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables
  • cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff ensuring timely, high-quality output
  • answer, report and follow supervisor's instructions
  • clean up station and manage leftover food
  • ensure proper food storage and temperature control according to health standards
  • provide training and oversight to less experienced staff
  • communicate frequently with supervisors and service staff to address issues and fulfill guest needs
  • minimize waste by maintaining controls to meet forecasted food costs
  • perform other duties as assigned
