Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work early morning to mid-afternoon shifts
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexible availability to assist in multiple kitchen roles including prep cook and dishwasher when needed
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe procedures
- Ability to cook recipes at each of the five kitchen stations
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy shifts
- Basic food preparation skills including washing, cutting, and portioning
- Familiarity with inventory management and kitchen organization
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up the station and the kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
