Job Requirements

  • Full time (30 hours or more) or part time position (30 hours or less) that requires a flexible schedule, often working weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Normal shifts include early as 7 a.m. and late as 2 a.m. with fluctuating schedules
  • Minimum of 1 year full-service restaurant kitchen cook experience
  • Internal candidates must be in good standing with no performance issues for at least 1 year
  • State Food Handler's Certification is required
  • Combined work experience and education will be considered in decisions

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of adhering to recipe standards
  • Demonstrated high skill in cooking and ingredient preparation
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for working with high quality and fresh ingredients

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and company standards to prepare dishes with high quality and craftsmanship
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area
  • Prepare ingredients with excellent knife skills and attention to detail
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a teamwork-driven kitchen
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist in inventory and kitchen supply management
