Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Six months related experience and/or training as a cook or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Must obtain ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to follow Chef's instructions and maintain sanitation standards
- Reliable and able to perform physical kitchen duties
- Commitment to food safety and quality standards

Job Duties
- Set up and stock food prep stations with all necessary supplies
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- Prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, cooking main dishes, or preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff or as assigned by the Chef
- Follow the Chef's instructions
- Maintain a clean and orderly station
- Clean and sanitize all equipment used including tables, shelves, fryers, burners, ovens, griddles, refrigeration equipment
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure food is served simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion
- Ensure kitchen operations and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Work nights, weekends and holidays
- Report on low inventory levels and supplies needed
- Perform portion control and minimize waste
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Ensure products are kept at proper temperatures
