One year line cook experience in a restaurant
Ability to read, speak, and understand English
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods

Job Duties

Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen station daily
Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
Responsible for set-up, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment
Maintain stock, cut, and store all perishables daily to ensure product quality
Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products
Take responsibility for the quality of products served
Other duties as assigned
