Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen or culinary experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Capability to perform repetitive motions and manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends
  • Good visual and auditory acuity
  • Physical ability to move quickly and multitask in a busy kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knife skills and culinary technique
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented setting
  • Flexibility to work nights, holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Leverage knife skills, experience and technique to confidently prep and run a station during busy service
  • Seamlessly work with an energetic and positive kitchen team to prepare and reproduce menu items which will exceed guest expectations
  • Embrace continuous learning and an innovative approach to expand knowledge of food and beverage
  • Understand all ingredients as they pertain to each recipe and preparation of authentic menu items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations according to health and safety standards
  • Assist with inventory management and proper food storage
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
