Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Active California Food Handlers Certificate required
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must pass a drug test and background check
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive hand tasks
Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
Active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card required
Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
Ability to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
Ability to perform repetitive hand motions required for the shift
Able to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and varying temperatures
Able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Duties

Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation, and cooking
Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
Take direction and be flexible
Work cooperatively with others as a team player in a confined space
