Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Minimum two years of line cook or food preparation experience
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 30-40 pounds
  • Capacity for prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs as needed
  • Capability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Current food safety certification such as ServSafe or SafeStaff (can obtain upon hire)
  • Two years of experience performing line cooking or preparation capacity
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipe and presentation guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements and adhere to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines
  • Read tickets and prepare order
  • Maintain superior quality in production of all food items
  • Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
  • Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station
  • Break down and clean station thoroughly every day
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products to par
  • Label, day dot, and sign all products
  • Obtain Chef/Manager signature on all products
  • Adhere to company and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as stock counts, labeling and signage of products to support safe and efficient kitchen operations
