Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferably in healthcare skilled nursing or senior living
  • ability to work the specified hours including weekends
  • successful completion of background screening
  • physical ability to perform duties in a kitchen environment
  • willingness to comply with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures

Job Duties

  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables and butchering meat
  • cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff

  • assist in inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • follow dietary restrictions and special instructions
