Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking experience preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
  • ability to work Monday through Saturday 11am-7:30pm and Sundays 7am-3pm
  • successful completion of background screening
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • proven cooking experience in healthcare or senior living settings preferred
  • excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • strong attention to detail and food safety standards
  • effective time management skills

Job Duties

  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables and butchering meat
  • cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • ensure food quality and timely service
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
  • assist in monitoring inventory and supplies
  • adhere to dietary guidelines specific to senior living
  • contribute to customer satisfaction through excellent culinary execution
