Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking experience preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
- ability to work Monday through Saturday 11am-7:30pm and Sundays 7am-3pm
- successful completion of background screening
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- good communication skills
- willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- proven cooking experience in healthcare or senior living settings preferred
- excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- strong attention to detail and food safety standards
- effective time management skills
Job Duties
- prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables and butchering meat
- cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
- ensure food quality and timely service
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
- assist in monitoring inventory and supplies
- adhere to dietary guidelines specific to senior living
- contribute to customer satisfaction through excellent culinary execution
