Job Requirements

high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
open availability
must work evenings, weekends and holidays
must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
must pass a drug test and criminal background check
active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card required
must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
must be able to walk, stand, and bend for 3 or more hours daily
must be able to perform repetitive hand movements
may be exposed to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity, or wetness
must perform all duties with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

ability to pass mandatory drug test and criminal background check
active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card
able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds

capable of performing repetitive hand movements for entire shift

Job Duties

ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
effectively utilize leftovers and control waste
take direction and be flexible in daily tasks
work cooperatively as a team player in a small, confined space
