Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • culinary diploma preferred but not required
  • prior kitchen experience in polished casual or fine dining restaurant preferred but not required
  • ServSafe sanitation certification preferred but not required
  • prior experience as cook, chef, line cook, grill cook, fry cook, prep cook, sushi cook, pastry or other back of the house restaurant jobs highly desirable

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food items according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
  • ensure food safety compliance including proper storage and handling
  • assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
  • collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and high-quality service
  • monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards
  • participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
