Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a fast-casual restaurant setting
  • proficiency in knife skills and food preparation
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety protocols
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • availability for flexible scheduling
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a fast-casual restaurant setting
  • 2+ years of experience with knife skill prepping
  • experience in grilling techniques, beef and poultry slicing, meat grinding, and frying
  • familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine, particularly shawarma preparation
  • bilingual Spanish / English is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and create all menu items in accordance with company recipes
  • efficiently prep all raw ingredients, sides, marinates, and menu items
  • ensure accurate food weight and measurements to maintain consistent serving portions
  • monitor and maintain ingredient levels, promptly signaling the need for replenishment
  • efficiently prepare ingredients with precision in anticipation of each meal service
  • adhere strictly to standardized recipes for consistent execution of dishes
  • present dishes thoughtfully to match their unique taste through careful plate presentation
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness while upholding high standards of hygiene
  • collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen crew, ensuring a well-coordinated and efficient operational flow
  • adhere strictly to food safety protocols, underscoring our commitment to a secure culinary environment
  • contribute to inventory management by overseeing supplies and initiating orders as necessary
  • demonstrate strict compliance with safety regulations, a cornerstone for fostering a content and efficient kitchen atmosphere
