Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Authorized to work in the USA with proper documentation
  • Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
  • Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
  • Ability to follow established menus and recipes
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs, bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Organizational and time management skills with good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain all aspects of the line area and food items
  • Provide a positive, consistent leadership role model to hourly staff
  • Use check lists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift
  • Follow all company specifications and procedures to ensure perfect food
  • Follow and use all food safety procedures and logs
  • Follow all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
