Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or comparable experience
  • at least 1 year of line cooking experience
  • knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • A culinary degree or comparable experience
  • minimum of 1 year experience cooking on a line
  • excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • passionate about quality local foods and the standards by which it is served
  • superior temperament, adaptable nature, and good communication skills
  • ability to work well in high-pressure, fast-paced work environment
  • demonstrate integrity both personally and professionally
  • ability to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef
  • work quickly while implementing set standards including quality, portion control, and presentation expectations
  • prepare for food service by cleaning and chopping food and setting up and stocking stations
  • comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • maintain strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
  • assist with cleaning and stocking
  • open and close the restaurant and perform related work as requested
  • perform objectives efficiently while maintaining positive and professional approach
  • promote the restaurant's community and culture by demonstrating respect, positive energy, dependability, honesty, initiative, outgoing nature, and a pleasant appearance
  • support the restaurant's eco-conscious vision
  • assist the team as needed and model teamwork
