Job Requirements

  • minimum 18 years of age
  • ability to work late night shifts potentially until between 12 am and 3 am
  • assigned scheduled shifts availability
  • valid food handling certificate
  • fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • ability to transport up to 30 pounds
  • ability to remain stationary for up to 4 hours
  • effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • live and embraces American Social vision and core values
  • report to work on time and prepared for the shift
  • follow all image and appearance standards
  • monitor product supply and replenish stock when necessary
  • read order tickets or listen to dishes called to determine items to prepare
  • prioritize cooking and preparation times to ensure proper pacing of guest meals
  • accommodate guests' special requests
  • prepare food items using recipe, proper portioning, and cooking standards
  • use FIFO procedures to ensure freshness of products and eliminate waste
  • maintain high production standards including consistency, firmness, and temperature of food
  • ensure food is cooked to standards and guests' specifications
  • ensure proper plate presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence
  • use proper cooking equipment to prepare food items and complete food orders
  • clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces using proper cleaning solutions
  • assist other employees as needed
  • demonstrate a helpful and positive attitude to guests and employees
  • understand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
  • provide complete and timely communication to other employees
  • conduct weekly maintenance duties
  • complete assigned tasks and duties requested by managers
