- A passion for culinary arts and a deep appreciation for delivering top-notch dining experiences
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques including grilling sauteing baking and frying
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by the demands of the country clubs dining operations
Job Duties
- Execute the preparation of a wide range of menu items including appetizers entrees and desserts in accordance with established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify the sous chef or kitchen manager when supplies are low
- Participate in daily and weekly kitchen cleaning tasks including equipment maintenance and deep cleaning activities
- Assist in the creation of daily specials offering creative input and suggestions for new menu items
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders
