  • ability to work late night shifts potentially between 12 AM - 3 AM
  • food handling certificate required
  • fluent in English able to speak, read, and write
  • ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
  • remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift

Job Duties

  • Live and embrace American Social vision and core values
  • report to work on time and prepared for the shift
  • follow all image and appearance standards
  • monitor product supply and replenish stock when necessary
  • read order tickets and listen to dishes called to determine items to prepare
  • prioritize cooking and preparation times to ensure proper pacing of guest meals
  • accommodate guests' special requests
  • prepare food items using recipe, portioning, and cooking standards
  • use FIFO procedures to ensure freshness and reduce waste
  • maintain high production standards including consistency, firmness, and temperature
  • ensure food is cooked to standards and guests' specifications
  • ensure proper plate presentation and portioning
  • use proper cooking equipment to complete orders
  • clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and prep surfaces with proper cleaning solutions
  • assist other employees as needed
  • demonstrate a helpful, positive attitude
  • adhere to safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
  • provide complete and timely communication throughout the shift
  • conduct weekly maintenance duties
  • complete assigned tasks and duties requested by managers
