Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience as cook
- ability to use cutting tools and cookware safely
- knowledge of cooking procedures and methods
- ability to follow sanitation procedures
- physical ability to perform moderate to heavy work including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
- ability to stand for extended periods up to 5 hours
- good organizational and verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as cook
- experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, boiling
- ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a team
- very good communication skills
- excellent physical condition and stamina
- high school diploma or equivalent
- diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Duties
- comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control
- receive and check food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms, ensuring freshness and proper storage
- maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
- complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
- protect the assets of the Club
- operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
- maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- assist with other duties as needed
