Job Requirements
- 1+ years of cooking experience in an upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
- positive attitude sense of responsibility and ownership of the position
- detail oriented with strong communication skills
- team oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability
- basic understanding of recipe preparation cooking and knife handling skills
- understanding and knowledge of safety sanitation and food handling procedures
- continuous reaching bending lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- certified for food service as required by state and local agencies

Job Duties
- prepare dishes from scratch following recipes for consistent results
- know and comply with standard cooking methods quality standards and kitchen practices
- cook meats seafood poultry vegetables using broilers ovens grills fryers and other kitchen equipment
- portion products follow recipes and ensure aesthetically pleasing plate presentation
- set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- follow safety and sanitation standards keep workstations clean and organized follow all food handling standards
- adhere to food service safety and sanitation guidelines as required by state and local agencies
