Job Duties

  • Follow Burger Lounge's vision, mission and core values

  • Prepare food that honors guest requests, restrictions and modifications
  • Ensure onion rings, french fries and salads are prepared correctly and timely
  • Follow proper safety procedures and use cut gloves properly
  • Load and run dishwashing machine regularly and maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and work areas
  • Follow prep lists and use tablets to ensure food prep consistency and standards are met
  • Complete daily prep lists within suggested timelines ensuring food meets quality standards
  • Fill out labels correctly and label products accurately
  • Comprehend Burger Lounge recipes and use basic or intermediate knife and kitchen equipment skills
  • Prepare sauces, proteins, salads and fries according to Burger Lounge standards
  • Maintain inventory of food and items on the line
  • Read tickets and time fryer item preparation with plating to ensure quality
  • Maintain and ensure kitchen equipment is operational
  • Assist with food temperature supervision and proper storage
  • Assist in receiving, verifying and storing food, beverage and supplies, ensuring FIFO is followed
  • Conduct back-of-house opening and closing tasks
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed
