Job Requirements
- high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card required
- must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
- must be able to perform repetitive use of hands including grasping, pushing, pulling and reaching
- must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications

- culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- valid California Food Handlers Certificate/Card
- ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
- able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes and presentation on a consistent basis
- provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains, including proper storage
- effective utilization of leftovers and control of waste
- take direction and be flexible
- work with others as a team player in a small confined space
