Job Requirements
- Must have one or more years of experience as a line cook
- Culinary education and supervisory background desirable
- Knowledge of menu presentation, food preparation, production, food delivery systems, and utility
- Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
- Prefer experience cooking from scratch and batch cooking
- ServSafe certified

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization
- Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality and conduct evaluations to improve operations and procedures
- Represent the community warmly to create a positive marketing environment
- Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy
