Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to make continuous and repetitive arm-hand movements (i.e. slicing or chopping food)
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly during the shift (i.e. removing items from stoves, ovens and refrigerators)
- Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs over short distances (20 feet or less)
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in hospitality food preparation is preferred
- Ability to obtain a Kansas City Food Handler permit
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and all food products
- Ability to communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Stocking and maintaining designated station
- Preparing food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen visually
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Preparing requisitions for food and supplies, as needed
