Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of cooking experience
  • Formal culinary training preferred
  • Ability to interpret and execute recipes
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Strong food preparation skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of cooking experience preferred
  • Formal culinary training preferred
  • Ability to interpret and execute recipes while maintaining clean and safe work area
  • Strong food prep skills
  • SERV SAFE Certification preferred
  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to build rapport and professionally communicate with team members and residents

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food
  • Ensure food presentation is attractive
  • Follow all guidelines and procedures when handling, preparing, serving and storing food
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • Promote culture of safety
  • Maintain food inventory and supplies
