Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a food preparation role
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical stamina to work in hot and wet conditions
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexible availability including holidays and weekends
- Compliance with food safety certification
- Willingness to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume culinary setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Capability to lift and carry weights over 35 pounds
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Safe food handler certification
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working multiple stations is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to menu specifications
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at the station
- Work efficiently to ensure timely food delivery
- Manage inventory restocking
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Assist in training new kitchen staff
- Communicate effectively with management
- Perform additional duties as assigned
