Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a cooking role
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform moderate to strenuous tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work according to shift assignments
- Maintain food handlers or managers certificate
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, and boiling
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma from a culinary school is an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverage preparation to ensure consistent quality and portion control
- Receive and check food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms, inspecting condition and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
- Complete opening and closing checklists as directed
- Protect the assets of the club
- Operate within guidelines, policies, and standards established by Hampton Golf
- Maintain food handlers or managers certificate
- Assist with other duties as needed
