Job Requirements

  • Have a current food handler's card where applicable or willingness to obtain
  • A love for food and attention to detail with cooking including knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Excellent customer service etiquette
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable with physical demands of the job including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • No previous cooking experience required
  • Willingness to learn and undergo paid on-the-job training
  • Ability to learn and follow restaurant menu and recipes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of chemicals used in the restaurant and safety procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
  • Plates prepared foods based on chef's guidance
  • Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
  • Assist with washing dishes, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
  • Uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
