Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Open availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- Active California Food Handlers certificate/card
- Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
- Capability to perform repetitive hand motions such as grasping, pushing and pulling for entire shift
- Willingness to work in conditions involving exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and temperature extremes
- Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Duties
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
- Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains
- Utilize leftovers effectively and control waste
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to take direction
- Work collaboratively as a team player in a confined kitchen space
