As part of its commitment to outstanding food and beverage offerings, SkyPark at Santa's Village is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join its Food & Beverage team. This part-time role is ideal for skilled culinary professionals eager to contribute to the creation of delicious meals that meet the establishment's high standards. Job Requirements

  • Prior relevant cooking experience preferred
  • Must have or obtain valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Availability for day shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule with availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food items for service such as chopping vegetables and preparing soups and sauces
  • Cook menu items in collaboration with other kitchen staff
  • Prepare meals according to guest specifications and dietary needs
  • Follow instructions from the Head Chef and management team
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and properly store and label leftovers
  • Manage and restock inventory as needed
  • Ensure that food is prepared consistently, efficiently, and presented with high quality
  • Adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations and standards
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment with coworkers and guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned
