Job Duties

  • Ensure timeliness by being ready to work at scheduled time and dressed in proper uniform
  • Work at a brisk and steady pace while staying organized and avoiding unnecessary steps
  • Have 100 percent recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting in any production step
  • Perform accurate portion control using scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards, and portion control tests
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment in like new condition by practicing clean-as-you-go
  • Achieve productivity measured by quality and quantity of work completed
  • Stock supplies before rush periods and think ahead to maintain workflow
  • Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a safe work environment adhering to OSHA guidelines
  • Handle safe food handling, receiving, rotating, and stocking food items
  • Provide prep support as needed
